Könntest Du bitte noch herausfinden, ob das Problem auftritt, sobald lp irgendwann geladen wird: also Booten ohne lp (Lüftersteuereung funktioniert) und dann lp nachladen. Und auch andersrum: Wenn wegen geladenem lp der Lüfter spinnt, reicht es einfach lp zu entladen, oder bleibt das Lüfterproblem bestehen?
Das Problem tritt dann auf, wenn "lp" geladen wird, egal ob beim Booten, durchen einen Dienst veranlasst oder manuell durch "modprobe". Einfaches Entladen reicht nicht aus. Der Lüfter springt dann auch nicht an oder schaltet sich wieder aus. Ein Reboot mittels "shutdown -r now" hilft auch nicht. Nur ein kompletter Kaltstart, also zuerst mit "shutdown -h now" und anschließendem Starten mittels Powerknopf, versetzt das BIOS in seinen "jungfräulichen" Zustand.
Es bleibt im übrigen noch die Möglichkeit offen, daß das Problem ein krankes BIOS ist und nur durch lp zufällig getriggert wird, ohne daß lp eingentlich etwas verkehrt macht. Denn bisher kenne ich nur Lüfterprobleme mit acpi=on.
Wie du schon richtig bemerkt hast, scheint ACPI hier keine Rolle zu spielen. (Es ist ja eh nur ACPI 1.0b im BIOS implementiert). Ob das ganze Schlamassel auf ein fehlerhaftes BIOS zurückzuführen ist, vermag ich nicht zu beurteilen. Wir müssen mal abwarten, ob es noch mehr ähnliche Problemmeldungen gibt.
