[suse-mirror] Connection refused by rsync.opensuse.org
Hi, I'm getting "Connection refused" when rsyncing from rsync.opensuse.org. Our mirror: mirrors.hustunique.com IPv4 address: 115.156.219.152 Is there anything wrong? Thanks, Hexchain Tong -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: mirror+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, email: mirror+owner@opensuse.org

Yes: machine is down/unreachable. I'm trying to get it back, but this might take some time. In the meantime: what about registering as official mirror and syncing from stage.opensuse.org instead? Any progress or estimation getting the machine back? unortunately i cannot to go to stage, because of to little bandwith. On Mar 17 2014 09:50, Lars Vogdt wrote:

No news, sorry. I'm currently waiting for a response from our sponsor. I will update https://news.opensuse.org/2014/03/17/rsync-opensuse-org-down-take-two/ once there is news to share.

Why not using a nearby mirror providing rsync from the list here? http://mirrors.opensuse.org/ Those mirrors have the same tier status as rsync.opensuse.org - but are maybe closer (and therefor mostly faster) to your destination. Thanks, a good idea. any way to use the rsync modules? (in my case opensuse-hotstuff-320gb) On Mar 20 2014 14:38, Lars Vogdt wrote:

Hallo, is there any chance to get the hotstuff modules back again? can't mirror everything due to space limitations, can't go to stage (too little bandwidth). current workaround since march: -rsync using --existing -apache forwarding on 404 to download.opensuse.org -using squid for caching Thanks a lot and kind regards Paul -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: mirror+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, email: mirror+owner@opensuse.org

That's good! I would like to apply for stage server access. -- Hexchain Tong -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: mirror+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, email: mirror+owner@opensuse.org
