I get only 4780276 bytes.
Alpha2 had 20436052 bytes.
AFAIK we reduced the number of images. So, there are only 2 LiveCD images but no install CDs, Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger, Director Platform/openSUSE, aj@suse.de SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GPG fingerprint = 93A3 365E CE47 B889 DF7F FED1 389A 563C C272 A126

Next Beta hopefully will have deltas again, giving you ~6GB back. Greetings, Stephan -- SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: mirror+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: mirror+help@opensuse.org

So DVDs are the only chance to upgrade an existing installation. Because ftp5.gwdg.de no longer has a bandwidth limitation (i.e. can do 1 GBit/sec around the clock), I would be ready to present the DVDs under /pub/opensuse/distribution/11.0-Beta1/iso/dvd/. This would mean all "my" mirrors would need to exclude that directory if not wanted. Shall we do so?

THe sum of space for Beta1 still would be less than for Alpha2 which just has been dropped.

Yes, but as I said: Beta2 will have deltas again (hopefully), so you would have 13G deltas, 13G DVDs, 3G CDs. Your call, I'm just not sure if exceeding from 19G to 29G is a good thing for most mirrors. There is just the need for "full images" now, because there are no deltas. Beta2 should leave the DVDs again.

Done. So please exclude iso/dvd/ from syncing if not wanted. ftp5.gwdg.de now has an additional directory /pub/opensuse/distribution/11.0-Beta1/Factory/ with the "frozen" inst-source inst-source-debug inst-source-extra in it. So please don't forget to exclude this directory if you sync from ftp5.gwdg.de (size is 45 GB). This hard linked "factory snapshot" will disappear when Beta2 does come, and maybe earlier if I run out of space.

Where is the announcement? I need the known_bugs URL. ;-)) Really. Both i386 and x86_64 (updated from DVD) are not working.

That one went active even before the announcement: http://en.opensuse.org/Bugs:Most_Annoying_Bugs_11.0_dev
Really. Both i386 and x86_64 (updated from DVD) are not working.
What is broken?
