[suse-mirror] another mirror inside China CERNET

Hi list, Early this year, Novell China helped a university for a 1.5T storage media, as a return the university set up an openSuSE mirror on this storage media. Since this machine is inside CERNET, even I can not connect to it. This morning a student verified the speed, the downloading is very fast (230kB/s ~ 1MB/s). Here is the brief information of the mirror: IPv4 domainname: oss.ustc.edu.cn (addr 211.86.156.206) IPv6 domainname: oss6.ustc.edu.cn (addr 2001:da8:d800:356:219:d1ff:fe01:ee82)
From the layout of top directoy, it seems distribution/factory/update are mirrored. openSuSE mirrors can be accessed under /opensuse directory of each machine.
The admin of this host can be contacted by zhanjian@ustc.edu Thanks to Zhanjian from USTC, Fengguang Wu from Intel OTC, and Alex Lau from Novell China R&D. -- Coly Li SuSE Labs -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: mirror+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: mirror+help@opensuse.org

Thanks for this info. I'll contact the admin. We need to find a way to get the file list of the mirror (short of being able to scan it), or redirect blindly, and find out whom to redirect to it. The list of CERNET prefixes you sent yesterday could be very useful here. Peter -- "WARNING: This bug is visible to non-employees. Please be respectful!"
