[suse-mirror] Considerably shrinking the buildservice-* rsync modules
Hi mirror admins, after removing 10.1 from the distribution trees recently, I have now removed some repositories from the buildservice-repos and buildservice-repos-main rsync modules, which contain software for Factory, 10.0 and 10.1, Fedora, Mandriva, RHEL and other repositories. The change affects both rsync.opensuse.org and stage.opensuse.org and considerably reduces the size of those modules: buildservice-repos 424G -> 220G (!) buildservice-repos-main 240G -> 122G (!) The largest part of this is software for Factory, which isn't really used by users, but kept 100G occupied alone. See http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-buildservice/2008-04/msg00223.html for the rationale and more data. Note 1: The excluded software will still be available on download.opensuse.org as before. It is just not being mirrored anymore, except on the widehat.opensuse.org mirror. Note 2: Regarding established push syncs of those data, I'll contact those of you who affects it separately.
