It's on the stage server now, we'll publish it in ~12 hours.
I get only 4780276 bytes. Alpha2 had 20436052 bytes.
Next Beta hopefully will have deltas again, giving you ~6GB back.
So DVDs are the only chance to upgrade an existing installation.
Because ftp5.gwdg.de no longer has a bandwidth limitation (i.e. can do 1 GBit/sec around the clock), I would be ready to present the DVDs under /pub/opensuse/distribution/11.0-Beta1/iso/dvd/. This would mean all "my" mirrors would need to exclude that directory if not wanted.
Shall we do so?
We're speaking about these three files for Beta1:
-rw-r--r-- 1 mirror stage 4512313344 Apr 17 20:56 openSUSE-11.0-Beta1-DVD-i386.iso -rw-r--r-- 1 mirror stage 4540143616 Apr 17 22:05 openSUSE-11.0-Beta1-DVD-ppc.iso -rw-r--r-- 1 mirror haldaemon 4595124224 Apr 17 20:45 openSUSE-11.0-Beta1-DVD-x86_64.iso
THe sum of space for Beta1 still would be less than for Alpha2 which just has been dropped. Viele Grüße Eberhard Mönkeberg (emoenke@gwdg.de, em@kki.org)
