Trigger Reinstall/Reprovision
Is there a way to trigger a reinstall or reprovision on bare metal (for when the ignition or combustion config) changes? One possibility seemed to be setting ignition.firstboot on the kernel commandline but wiping the rootfs using ignition (it is possible to wipe/formate root like this on CoreOS) produced a PAM error. On Fedora CoreOS, I believe this is possible using `coreos-installer`. -- Abhinav Praveen

You can also remove the file /boot/writable/firstboot_happened to re-trigger the Ignition and Combustion runs instead of adding ignition.firstboot to the kernel command line manually. I don't understand however: How did you reinitialize the rootfs?
