It's probably time to work on the release notes.

Beta is not already official, but the basic background is done:

I already inserted the release notes in the pad (for what they where good for)

I don't know if we want to have the kde/gnome... stuff fully integrated in the notes or elsewhere;

Is still early for now, as you've noted plenty of content still needs to be stuffed into the document. Even if the content is raw, it might still be faster to just insert it and someone can modify later.

Yes, just copy-pasting in stuff is fine. We can easily clean it up later...
