[opensuse-marketing] attention FACEBOOK moderators
When posting to the Facebook pages please write a short introduction before posting your link. Does someone have an auto-feed set up from News? Auto postings or bare links look very bad on facebook and do not encourage sharing and discussion. -- IRC: helen_au helen.south@opensuse.org helensouth.com -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+owner@opensuse.org

Agreed, this was something I raised quite a while ago. Seems manual posting has a very different look and feel versus auto-posting via a plugin. But the general response I got from time to time when I would raise it was "it just looks fine." On the other hand, sometimes some links are inexplicably cryptic. I regularly post links whenever possible, and the link itself will include a summary and the option of what image to use for thumbnail. Yet, one article I posted yesterday could only be shown cryptically. I kept re-testing the link and it was the same. Seems a problem over on the Wordpress side for that particular article.
