[opensuse-marketing] Social Media photos
Hey folks, I admit I have never followed the way we handle social photo sharing for our events in the past, for obvious reasons. However, I need to ensure we provide all the proper hashtags for upcoming Summit and oSC. How did we do it in the past? What did we use? Flickr? Picasa? Do we tell people to #opensuse tag their photos? A good overview would be much appreciated. Thanks! We used a flickr group, e.g. http://www.flickr.com/groups/osc10/, but some put them on their own pages as well. So on posters we would put up around the venue to tell people to "tweet" us, we simply say Flickr: #ossum12, and that should do it? Does anyone know also if video hashtags also exist? Like on YouTube or Vimeo? I don't think I've ever seen video hashtags, but if so, I should include that as well. No, ask them to join the group! You have to manually upload to the group. But I'm no flickr expert, there might be different ways.
