[opensuse-marketing] openSUSE: A difficult Distribution or a user-friendly distribution?
A few days ago a Greek popular site/blog FOSS related asked me to write an article about openSUSE, I came up with that article in order to show people that everybody can use openSUSE. The article had good response at the Greek audience (over 1200 views on 48 hours) and that is why I decided(Rajko M. helped in that decision) to translate it in English. Give it a look and let me know your opinion about it,also I am preparing the second part so any ideas you have would be great. Maybe how openSUSE can resolve most problems in an enterprise, both on the desktop in the office, as the arena server. -- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Have a nice day ;-) TooManySecrets /"\ ASCII Ribbon Campaign | FreeBSD Since 4.1 \ / - NO HTML/RTF in e-mail | GNU/Linux Since 1994. Congratulations for a short, nice, quite balanced and ethic article about openSUSE Linux operating system. Most articles I use to read reviewing or evaluating a Linux distribution start enhancing some features in comparison with how bad other distribution did one or another feature. It makes look those distributions pretty bad and let the potential customer (reader) with a big question mark (it is Linux or it is not?) and helplessness. This way to talk about a FOSS projects is by far more attractive to newbies who expect a solution to their headaches with other software or taking the Linux way as new adventure. -- Ricardo Chung | openSUSE Linux Ambassador http://en.opensuse.org/User:Amonthoth http://twitter.com/amon0thoth1 http://amon0thoth1.blogspot.com http://www.facebook.com/pages/openSUSE-Panama-Users-Group/326325121542 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+help@opensuse.org
