Are you interacting a lot on @opensuse or mostly posting updates?
That's something to figure out ;)
I'm interested in helping out either way, I just think that if it's mostly outbound announcements we should work on expanding the scope of the Hermes project, so that people can focus on the less mudane task of interacting ;-)
New blog posts from news.opensuse.org, lizards.o.o and spotlight.o.o are automatically twittered, so that's nothing we need to do. But sometimes it's good to send reminders, invite for meetings - and questions send, applaud some people etc. Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger, Program Manager openSUSE, aj@{novell.com,opensuse.org} Twitter: jaegerandi | Identica: jaegerandi SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GPG fingerprint = 93A3 365E CE47 B889 DF7F FED1 389A 563C C272 A126

For German content, we should use a @opensuse-de twitter account IMO, let's leave the @opensuse one in English, Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger, Program Manager openSUSE, aj@{novell.com,opensuse.org} Twitter: jaegerandi | Identica: jaegerandi SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GPG fingerprint = 93A3 365E CE47 B889 DF7F FED1 389A 563C C272 A126

I think so too... So let's start a german twitter account @opensuse-de :) SuSE is a traditional Linux Distribution in Germany , so i think it will be a great way to speak to german users!

Let's see what makes sense - the account is created and setup for now. I propose to put @opensuse and @opensuse_DE on the agenda for next week's Marketing Meeting. Some ideas on what can be twittered: * Events in Germany * Feed to German Planet SUSE * Key announcements Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger, Program Manager openSUSE, aj@{novell.com,opensuse.org} Twitter: jaegerandi | Identica: jaegerandi SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GPG fingerprint = 93A3 365E CE47 B889 DF7F FED1 389A 563C C272 A126

I got a couple of volunteers that answered already - we should not make the twitter team too large. But let's discuss how we can improve this further, Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger, Program Manager openSUSE, aj@{novell.com,opensuse.org} Twitter: jaegerandi | Identica: jaegerandi SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GPG fingerprint = 93A3 365E CE47 B889 DF7F FED1 389A 563C C272 A126
