The background colors of the cover use the standard colors of openSUSE and therefore if i put the logo without a diferent background color then its not easy recognised. For that reason the plain white gecko is there (it can be a white circle too or something like that if wanted).
Just check a test of the cover without the white background behind the logo

Only "SUSE" is 100% visible, the rest of the logo "blends" with the background colors.

great work, really seems great.
For me the only sugestion I can make is to reduce the size of 11.2 DVD, at least the size of the DVD part (just so it doesnt' feel so crowded), perhaps reduce it so it can go to below the circle line, and that lowers the 11.2 and gets the gecko more front and center witout moving it.

Hello George,
Indeed the logo is not visible without the white Geeko, but I was thinking about a white tail that somehow could work as a background for the whole logo, or at least to be behind most of logo's surface. Smaller 11.2 DVD looks better in front.
I still like the "old" alterative. Anyway, I am going to try to send ideas too. I am no good at all using graphic tools :).
