[opensuse-marketing] Rebooting "People of openSUSE"
We now have reached a state where we can reboot the "People of openSUSE" interview series. There is a new page in place at http://opensuse.github.io/people/ with a first new interview with Dominique. The page is powered by a simple generator which turns markdown into the web page. This makes it quite simple to add new interviews. The code (and the generated page) are in git at https://github.com/openSUSE/people As a next step it would be great to announce the first new interview and then add more over time. I'm already working on the second new interview. What do you think? Could somebody help with writing an announcement for new.opensuse.org? -- Cornelius Schumacher <cschum@suse.de> -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+owner@opensuse.org

Hello!! I like the idea!! Will be available a new interview every week, or month? Or will be published sporadically? I'll try to transltate in spanish and publish in my blog, it's possible? Are the interviews published under a free license? I was thinking about something like one interview per month. But this also depends on the people doing interviews.
I'll try to transltate in spanish and publish in my blog, it's possible? Are the interviews published under a free license?
Yes, the license of the interviews (at least the new ones) is CC-BY-SA. Let's wait with publishing translations until we have properly published and announced the new interviews, though. -- Cornelius Schumacher <cschum@suse.de> -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+owner@opensuse.org

How about we put this under people.opensuse.org first? File a ticket at the usual place please :) -- Theo Chatzimichos <tampakrap@opensuse.org> <tchatzimichos@suse.com> System Administrator SUSE Operations and Services Team

Thanks Cornelius for the changes and the revival proposal. And excellent way of doing it. Writing them in MD is really a plus, easing the whole process. What Tomâs propose is good to take into consideration people.opensuse.org make sense a lot. To announce to for news, it as simple as sending a mail to news(at)o.o proposing the content. -- Bruno Friedmann Ioda-Net Sàrl www.ioda-net.ch Bareos Partner, openSUSE Member, fsfe fellowship GPG KEY : D5C9B751C4653227 irc: tigerfoot -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+owner@opensuse.org

I can write something up for news.o.o. in January. Let's kick it off in 2017. v/r Doug -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+owner@opensuse.org
