I'm Naruhiko (Naru) Ogasawara, co-worker of Satoru-san as a Weekly News Japanese Translator. Sorry everytime absence of IRC meeting.

Anyway, I agree Satoru's following comment

Our timezone is UTC + 9 and therefore I'm living in the "most future" country among all the current editors/translators. But I don't mind if the start time would be 14:30 UTC -- 23:30 in our localtime and almost midnight, though. So please choose the time as many translators as possible to join the meeting. ;-)

It is very hard to choose good time for ever people living the whole country. For me, 23:30 is not so late time (now I'm still wake at 2am JST!).

Hi, guys! For me no offered time is too late or too early, cause I have only UTC+3 here in Saint-Petersburg =) So let there be 14-30, it seems OK for the most of us.

Sorry for not translating last couple of issues - I was working on my diploma project in university and was ABSOLTELY out of time. Now I am successfully graduated engineer and will continue to work on OWN russian translation.

P.S. My wife is "university gold medal"-winning master in world economics - she says that OWN translations can be consumed as part of marketing due only to the amorphic nature of "marketing" description itself. So she thinks, that in our situation having separate list is recommended. Of course, I agree with her ;)

I got a little confused with the first email on this thread since this is on the marketing mailing list. I thought you were asking for times for the general Marketing team meeting. I now realize you're specifically discussing meeting times for translators. Please be sure to clarify that note in future emails.

Two month ago we have our meeting frequency weekly. We discussed about the Newsletter of the actual week and some else, what was placed on the Topic. But we changed to an monthly frequency. On the monthly Meeting it is planned to meet the whole Team. All Editors and Translators. On this Meeting we discuss about our Topiclist. In this thread we vote for an Meetingtime for the whole Team. So everyone can ask or say, whatever he would like to say. :-)

In the last "Weekly News Team" IRC meeting, we discussed about having our -- I mean, "Weekly News Team"'s -- own list. But there are pros and cons of having -weeklynews list.

So I want to propose: As long as Weekly News Team use this -marketing list as a communication channel, if the thread's subject is Weekly-News-specific, just add the [OWN] or [Weekly News] tag in front of the subject, for example:

[OWN] Voting for Meeting Time [Weekly News] Issue #?? ready for translation

IMHO, this prevents us from unnecessary confusions.
