[opensuse-marketing] openSUSE 12.2 deserving of attention?

Hey all, If you think there's something cool coming in openSUSE 12.2 which deserves some attention of press and users, add it to this page: http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Upcoming_features If you notice something there which is wrong - please fix it! Note that you don't have to be a developer or packager for either of the things above - if you're an user reading this list but you happen to know of something that's new and missing, just add it! Links to explanations of the feature or new or much improved package are appreciated. We'll use this page for the release announcement and articles about the new release. If you want to help with anything around promo, tell us on the opensuse- marketing list! Let's make 12.2 rock. And let's make sure the world KNOWS it! Hugs, Jos

From what I've seen, the structure is (was) a bit unfortunate. I don't think starting with the most "boring" topic ("Low level things") is a good idea. :-) I think, most readers are more interested in the desktop things so I've restructured the page accordingly. Feel free to revert it if you don't like it. :) -- Gruß/Regards, Thomas Schraitle ---------------------------------------------------------------------- SUSE LINUX Products GmbH (o< Maxfeldstrasse 5 /\\ Documentation Specialist 90409 Nuernberg, Germany _\_v http://www.suse.com http://lizards.opensuse.org/author/thomas-schraitle/ SUSE LINUX GmbH, GF: Jeff Hawn, Jennifer Guild, Felix Imendörffer, HRB 21284 (AG Nürnberg)

No problem with those changes - but keep in mind that this is an internal list. We will move all this info to a final location (the feature guide, like we had for 12.1 and 11.4). Thanks for the thinking of this, however...
