Ist das bei SuSE nicht bekannt gewesen, oder haben die DVD Hersteller nicht vorher bei euch angefragt ?

I would suggest, firstly, to try and get openSUSE 12.3 as that's been out for a while ;-) Second, you might have to enable overburning in the DVD burning application. Not all DVD's are of equal size and it is possible that 12.2 is very tight to the maximum of many DVD's. Last, I suggest you check the file with the md5sum or another hash code (instructions on download.opensuse.org, scroll down) to ensure you have the proper and full file.
