[opensuse-marketing] Announcing weekly-news-translation-tool v0.0.3
Hi @all! I've updated the weekly-news-translation-tool. Now we've 2 versions: * weekly-news-translation-tool * weekly-news-translation-tool-web Release notes: ############## weekly-news-translation-tool ---------------------------- This is the known tool. It imports the en.txt file and the translation.ini present in the current folder and exchanges the predefined strings. New: With "-a" you can switch the mode to replace _ALL_ occurrences of a string ! The default mode is still to exchange only the first occurrence. Example: weekly-news-translation-tool JP weekly-news-translation-tool -a JP weekly-news-translation-tool-web -------------------------------- This new script is able to load the text directly from the wiki and doesn't need the en.txt to be present in the current folder. Nevertheless the translate.ini has still to be present in the current folder. The "-a" switch works in this version, too. Example: weekly-news-translation-tool JP 51 weekly-news-translation-tool -a JP 51 The tool is available here: http://software.opensuse.org/search/?q=weekly-news (version 0.0.3 !) A current translate.ini is included as /usr/share/doc/packages/weekly-news-translation-tool/example/translate.ini . The script should work also with the news template, but some strings might need some adjustment. HAVE PHUN! I edited the translate.ini in accordance with the new template and tried "weekly-news-translation-tool-web" with it on issue #56. That worked perfectly well ! :-) The result is: http://ja.opensuse.org/OpenSUSE_Weekly_News/56 Vielen Dank, Jan-Simon ! You always make good jobs !! Incidentally, I have a question. 3 icons in the "NewTemplate" that I revised are restored again. And therefore, these icons in issue #56 are not consistent with those in "NewTemplate" now. Which should we use for next issue #56 ? IMHO, we should use the "newer" icons. At least, the icon for New/Updated Apps should be replaced, because the older one has KDE gear in it. Tnx ;) .

We changed the image-links to be consistent with the naming scheme OWN-<oxygen/tango>-<foo>.png . Possibly you need to check/change the uploaded files in the jp.o.o wiki ?
Which should we use for next issue #56 ? As displayed in the english issue #56 .
IMHO, we should use the "newer" icons. At least, the icon for New/Updated Apps should be replaced, because the older one has KDE gear in it. Done in the template and issue #56 - must be the icon-links.
