[opensuse-marketing] openSUSE hackaton in March, Paris, FR
Hi everyone, the french openSUSE community is about to organize a hackaton in Paris, France, on 8/9 March of 2014. The event will happen in the Epitech engineering school, which has been eased thanks to the partnership between SUSE France and Epitech. People should work at least on open stack and if things go well, there should be people working with OBS, openSUSE ARM, GIS Softwares, SUSE Studio and potentially more. That being said I have two questions : - how can the openSUSE marketing team help us in this challenge, particularly regarding train tickets ? - Where can I advertise this event to the global community ? Do you have a prefered format ? Best wishes, Alexis. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+owner@opensuse.org

This goes to travel support program, but don't expect that much, it's happening in the same fiscal quarter than osc14 Perhaps SUSE France has some travelling sponsor budget allowed ?
- Where can I advertise this event to the global community ? Do you have a prefered format ? create the article and push it to news@o.o team
Best wishes,
Alexis.

I disagree there are funds available for other events in the same quarter afaik, it's just that it is not much and since this is the only event you should definatelly apply.

+1 If you have something ready send me and I can publish it asap. Also there are people who can tweet etc. through the official openSUSE channels, I am not sure if I still can do that but there are people around that can do that if you wish.
Best wishes,
Alexis.
