[opensuse-marketing] openSUSE 42.2 Montreal Linux Meetup Presentation
Hey all, I've been asked to do an openSUSE 42.2 presentation at the local Linux Meetup and I was wondering about the following: 1. This features list is perfect for what I need to do, has anyone done anything presentation-wise yet? Are there decks around? 2. Anyone have a contact where I can get openSUSE swag? (Would only need about 50 of whatever - thumbdrives, pens, stickers, etc...) 3. With SLES for Raspberry Pi being announced, is there an openSUSE for Raspberry Pi image in the wild or is there something in the works? -- Signature Sean Rickerd Ingénieur Commercial/Sales Engineer srickerd@suse.com 514.834.5778 ------------------------------------------------ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+owner@opensuse.org

Richard Brown and James Mason did something like this at LinuxFest NW - https://www.linuxfestnorthwest.org/2016/sessions/make-leap-dev-production-op...

As for the swag, send me your address and I will send something your way. Where is the event and how many people do you expect? That should help me figure out exactly how much to send.
3. With SLES for Raspberry Pi being announced, is there an openSUSE for Raspberry Pi image in the wild or is there something in the works?
The short answer is yes, we will have something, but the ARM guys need a package upgraded in Leap for it to work, so that package has to go through maintenance. I don't know when this will happen, but I am hoping in the next two weeks. Dirk Müller and Alexander Graf are working on it. If you have any questions let me know. v/r Doug -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+owner@opensuse.org
