[opensuse-marketing] New SCALE CFP opportunity
Just had a conversation with one of the SCALE organizers and they have an interesting opportunity if any of you are interested. They have a session called UpSCALE in which you have an opportunity to give a 5 minute presentation. Here's how it works: " Each speaker gets 5 minutes to talk...they have 20 slides...the slides auto advance after 30 seconds, whether they're ready or not Go ahead and have them submit talks...can't promise they'll all be accepted but if they're really interesting talks...off the wall kind of talks are always fun too" How to submit your application for an UpSCALE talk: Go to https://www.socallinuxexpo.org/simple_cfp/ and be sure to select UpSCALE as the category. Should be fun and interesting. Requires a bit of rehearsal before you do the presentation, but why not? We only live once! Registering to do a walkthrough of SUSE Studio. Slides? I don't need
slides. I can build a custom Linux distro, in a browser, in < 5
minutes ;-)
(But I'll probably do something slide-ish anyway, just to be safe.)

I want to register a presentation about "Organizing a local openSUSE community"
Until when I can apply about it so that I will have the presentation ready?
5 minutes is all I need ;-)

The sooner the better. CFP's are technically closed but they are willing to get more CFPs specifically for the UpSCALE event. Bryen -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+help@opensuse.org
Ok
I'll have it ready until tomorrow night.
Another question, in Speaker Registration it asks for Organization ,do
we wright openSUSE or anything else?
