[opensuse-marketing] People of openSUSE
We would like to revive the "people of openSUSE" interview series to give our community and the people who are interested in it a better view on who those people are who are making openSUSE. I talked to Uzair and set up the start of a new web site where we easily fill in future interviews. The site is at: http://opensuse.github.io/people It's work in progress. The idea is to add new interviews, but also add the previous ones as archive. It probably would be good to offer it under http://people.opensuse.org or something like that. The sources of the site are at: https://github.com/openSUSE/people I'll start contacting a few people for new interviews over the next couple of days. Feedback is welcome. -- Cornelius Schumacher <cschum@suse.de> -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+owner@opensuse.org

How do we get the subdomain? :)

I've gone ahead and forked the repo, if you want I can move all the old interviews over to the new site. - -- Regards, Uzair Shamim -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2 iQIcBAEBAgAGBQJWJat9AAoJEKk4ocK8JbkdPUIP/02RsbZnwXLa4csvsxD7UqH9 4SPzEWaZrOtk1qmmw8krOrsHWcZrlFfGN7g2qiNMN5PzqCsHMePe1Y0wJFTo8FDu HNS//M7K0AYwHfIHjtOp6dyALFhRkKbmE04MWWfd53t6Nt3ewsM3El4u20dVqVlg l9CVOQq1dl1uw2DHd0Inh/7jLX3fEGOCjVzYvjHU4lbRcDMN2/vJ7L54KbRvDozc wXDADLkpcFMzqcl9obFa1J4ty9k9xofuz7d5VGKG2Dxihxgk6V4dV27WT9lR1Ok+ vNzg9qNdSqEyL201Ciolm+fjzzxTdn+u7h9tKyHuQs2HaNr7kTpnEtFqMfeS2Yc8 sGGTt9ucOH6plFqGU1gwE6RdT0Ridl6/7dxaI+VMA5NcDB/USG7U1dSqixY9XazR faUovvJwpkSusT+aw62Vy86TeipL/hDwZ5Vi62XomfZ8Su0nlhqru19x8NymSWFd uGMzt9lOqtAH246FOFKJpca7h3ox5+trjf6g9QDFEBN/62bDNu6BySQ28geNY9g1 JYtPddsF/T30oDjC/7w4kesNY0TTUZessXXtJrvKRQ/oIqxDdXWPwm8ckSMjfEmL Nlsk1F4R+n67DkUcigjRrT9Vxd2TKP8jzNWF+xsgU9tuFiySW/AOW8zTRuTQ5Frt hzyLXIpftu1l7SEInMGh =sp4m -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+owner@opensuse.org

One question related to the "people of openSUSE" series is under which license this is done. As far as I can tell the interviews from the past are under no specific license (at least I couldn't find any on news.opensuse.org, where the interviews are published). So I assume that they are only meant to be published on the openSUSE site and not meant for redistribution. For future interviews it would be great to adopt a better defined license. I would use CC-BY-SA for them. Are there any reasons to not do this? -- Cornelius Schumacher <cschum@suse.de> -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+owner@opensuse.org

good idea IMHO. Having no license is the worst case, because it means only the owner can use it and he can disappear jdd -- When will a Label sign her!!? https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=94&v=BeMk3WRh8QI -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+owner@opensuse.org
Hi Cornelius, I know only how to do that in Germany. At first you have to ask, whether the special person want to have all published. After that you are allowed to do it. I believe, that would be the same in other countries. Best regards, Sarah
