We will be covering travel / lodging for a few community contributors
once we figure out how much budget we have left over. However, we
can't cover everybody, obviously - if you're thinking about attending
and can afford to, I'd start booking travel now.
The facility has a fair number of rooms that we're going to reserve
for attendees, so lodging will be covered for more attendees than
travel. (Which is more expensive, obviously.)
Best,
Zonker

Hi Zonker, Great news there. I wish to apply, but since I don't have worked on a proper presentation yet, I decided not to apply until it's pretty much done. If my presentation does not get approved, I'd like to help too. I was thinking about money support, and have you guys thought about the chance of covering half air tickets, in case you cannot cover the whole trip? In my case, that would be really helpful anyway, and how about you Decks? heh. I will fill in the form before friday. So, if your presentation is approved, you don't want to help? ;-) We'd love to have the help.

Yes. The way some other projects do this is to cover a set amount by geography -- so, for instance, if you're traveling to the U.S. from outside North America you'd get $X and then if you're traveling from the U.S. you'd get 1/2 $X. One thing I can't stress strongly enough, though: Contributions will be the primary factor in deciding who does or doesn't get sponsored travel assistance. (That's a general comment, btw, not one aimed just to you!)
I will fill in the form before friday.
Outstanding. Thanks!

Hi Zonker,

I was thinking of going, but in reality I could not help it jejeje, I'm not very professional that even a young enthusiastic engineering study jejejeje.
but still I am not a contributor, so I do not know. 'm eager to get more serious about the project to opensuse.
I will fill in the form before friday.
Best regards.
