[opensuse-marketing] 11.2 Screenshots and Milestones
Happy Wednesday (or Thursday) everyone! In 11.1 and earlier, we would create a new page for each alpha/beta/RC pre-release of an openSUSE version. To me, this seems a bit unnecessary. Instead, I'm think we'd have an "11.2 Prerelease" page (this already exists, it actually looks like Beineri is thinking on the same track, as he's gone ahead and named the page "11.2 Milestones"). where we'd keep the screenshots updated for each new milestone released. When we prepare the final screenshot gallery for the November launch, we'd just move this page and update it again for the final release. Any objections/comments? Here's the page as it currently exists - I'm in the process of downloading Milestone 1 as we speak so I can begin trying it out - http://en.opensuse.org/Screenshots/11.2_Milestones -- Kevin "Yeaux" Dupuy openSUSE Member www.twitter.com/KevinDupuy -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+help@opensuse.org

Good ideas. Just one note, we're coming up on M2 very shortly (perhaps tomorrow or by the end of the week), so there may be changes. Hi! I will start testing the M2 release and post some impressions too. I can translate to PT-BR too. 2009/5/27 Joe 'Zonker' Brockmeier <jzb@zonker.net>:

Why did you drop so much stuff from openSUSE_11.2 page like XFCE or all the links to what's actually new in KDE 4.1, 4.2, OpenOffice.org 3.1 etc.? :-( Bye, Steve -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+help@opensuse.org
