[AW: [opensuse-marketing] Temporary Tattoos]
Hi! I do not think that tattoos are the right way to get people listen to openSUSE. The money would better be spend on folders with informations about openSUSE and the work of the Community. - Regards, TH / Okuro Oikawa -------- Weitergeleitete Nachricht --------

When I was at LinuxTag this year I noticed that Fedora folks were giving free Fedora tattoos to people at their stand. I'm not sure how much does this fun cost, but we might want to have similar tattoo with Geeko at openSUSE conference. Slightly worn tattoo can be spotted here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/davdunc/3547797738/ What do you think? :-)

Im also thinking about this, marketing material must be put on a priority list revelant to time and money. For example live cds should be on the top priority. So I think for a good start to design the CD and the cover/sleeve and find how they will be produced.
Just to remind you that in 19 September is the Software Freedom Day and LUGs all over the world will throw parties/installfests etc. It would be nice if we had some Live CDs to hand it over people.
Second to the priority list should be a pamphlet describing openSUSE and open-source software etc.

We already have openSUSE 11.1 DVDs - are you asking for live CDs in addition?
(Note that the DVD includes the GNOME/KDE live CDs...)
If you need DVDs for a specific event, please send me an email OFF
LIST :-) (i.e., don't ask on -marketing when everybody has to see the
request.)
I need the following: Address, phone, name, and any special
instructions. Date needed, and approximate # needed.
Media (DVDs) is always at the top of the priority queue budgetwise --
no point in handing out t-shirts at an event if we can't also give a
DVD...
