[opensuse-marketing] New ambassador
Hi I'm Gabriel Stein, from the southern of Brazil and I have been working with SuSe/openSUSE since 1999. I'm a big fan of SuSe because since I tried it, SuSe detected all of my computer hardware including components "for windows". Actually I'm a python developer too, I used to write in my blog some basics of openSUSE and Python, and I participate too of planetsuse.org. Actually I participate of a local group called Tchelinux, which does opensource events to students and universities, without subscribing tax, just 2kg of food to poor inhabitants of the community. I promote openSUSE, interoperability and python. I'm using english as the main language, but I'm thinking to start writing in portuguese too. I can translate things too, like flyers, folders, posters, all marketing stuff. I speak german too. Please let me know of any tasks needed by openSUSE Marketing. -- /\ Gabriel Stein gabrielstein@gmail.com +55 51 9953 1337 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+help@opensuse.org

Hi Gabriel, There is a pt version of planetsuse.org. I think we can start thinking about a brazilian opensuse community or something like this. Actually I see just the pt_BR forum as a meeting point. Maybe we (I saw some 'ambassadors' from Brazil) can make our presence in national OS meetings strong, or at least more organized. Regards and welcome!
