[opensuse-marketing] News Items Public Opinion Poll
Hey guys. What I'd like to know is if it would be OK if i set up a poll in which we could see what kind of content our readers would like to read about? Is it app reviews, more technical items or artwork or...? I'd set it up on google survey, unless there's a better option. Do you aggree? If it's just a poll, how about connect.opensuse.org? :-) We could also install a wordpress poll plugin. Actually that would be what I would prefer.

hey Henne. Yes, more or less just a poll. And you're right, i'll look into connect, but you can also install the poll plugin, so we do it on the news site itself. I agree with utilizing the existing infrastructure (I really can't get used to the fact that opensuse.org actually has *everything* you need :) :) :) ) I'll post the template for questions today, and it shouldn't be more then a few questions, just so we can make sure we're going in the right direction. What kind of topics should openSUSE news focus on: (Newbie friendly, tutorials, power-user-technical topics,artwork, development update, community animation (different actions to invite/lure new users), others (specify in the comments) 3. How often should new news be posted (at least 1 daily, 3-5 days/week, once a week) 4. How are you satisfied with the appearance of news.opensuse.org (theme, colors, etc.)? (1-5) 5. Does news.o.o. need a theme overhaul? (yes, no, doesn't matter) - Henne, we should include this only if it's possible to perform, otherwise i won't include it. 6. Any suggestions?
