We don't have one scheduled at the moment, but probably should. Part of the problem is finding a suitable time for all the folks who participate as we have people who are in Germany, Japan, and various time zones in the U.S. We've been doing most of the discussion via the mailing list. But it's probably time to set up at least a monthly time. Two Qs: is a week day or weekend day better? And what times? If you'd like to attend, mark the best times here: http://whenisgood.net/cXj38B Thanks! What happened to forum idea? Using nntp access can be very fast. Or 2 part meeting that will suit to more people? Or weekends, Saturday morning for instance? Or combination of forums and IRC, where locals discuss idea on IRC and give conclusions of that in a forum post. Wiki is really good only as meeting minutes holder, ie. documentation resource, not as a source of user questions. -- Regards, Rajko http://news.opensuse.org/category/people-of-opensuse/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+help@opensuse.org

Most of the marketing team members, including Ambassadors, are volunteers and have their own school or jobs on weekday morning/afternoon, therefore it's very difficult to find a suitable time for all on weekday. So, I think it's better if we can have a meeting on Saturday and, the BETTER time would be 15:00-16:00 or 16:00-17:00 UTC. UTC 15:00 16:00 17:00 ------------------------------+-------+-------+------ Los Angeles, Seattle 8:00 9:00 10:00 New York, Miami, Santiago 11:00 12:00 13:00 Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro 12:00 13:00 14:00 London, Lisbon 16:00 17:00 18:00 Berlin, Prague 17:00 18:00 19:00 Kolkata, Mumbai 20:30 21:30 22:30 Jakarta 22:00 23:00 0:00 Taipei 23:00 0:00 1:00 Tokyo 0:00 1:00 2:00 Sydney 1:00 2:00 3:00 Although it might be too late time for those who live in Asia/Pacific countries - especially for Australian, I, who live in Tokyo, can be awake until that time if it would be on a Saturday night. ;-) Best, -- _/_/ Satoru Matsumoto - openSUSE Member - Japan _/_/ _/_/ Marketing/Weekly News/openFATE Screening Team _/_/ _/_/ mail: helios_reds_at_gmx.net / irc: HeliosReds _/_/ _/_/ http://blog.geeko.jp/author/heliosreds _/_/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+help@opensuse.org
