I'm only using openSuse for about 1 month (Gnome flavor) but been using Linux since about 4 years.

Hi Alex, Welcome! Sure we need! Actually we are 2 translators for Potuguese (both from Brazil), but as the wiki is shared between pt and pt_BR I see no problem in apply the same behaviour in our weekly news. Hi Alex, Currently in openSUSE there are 3 different translation areas that I know about. It is enough one here. Did you signed the Guiding Principles, as mentioned on the team page? If yes, then be patient, someone from the team will answer as soon as possible. Everyone is doing this in a free time, so it is not possible to hang on mail lists and answer right away. The other 2 are: openSUSE wiki translation ----------------------- http://en.opensuse.org/Translation As you can see Portuguese wiki is listed: http://pt.opensuse.org/Bem-vindo_ao_openSUSE.org and it seems realtively updated, but I'm sure that there is enough work for everybody. If one Translator haven't enough Time to Translation, so another have the Chance to translate. For Portuguese is an Translator present called "Elchevive". Hi Sascha!
