[opensuse-marketing] Announcements localization
Hi Joe, Is it possible to get the announcements 1-2 days before their release to translate them? I really like the way how Mozilla do. Their announcements release same time on 10-30 different languages (regarding volunteers work). Without synchronized release, the online press get the English versions and the (mis)translate or cut them. What we can do is have a template that doesn't change much and slot in the variables at the last minute, if there's interest in that. It's ok when translators should change few sentences right before release. We do the same in Mozilla especially for the security fix releases.

OK. Sorry this wasn't passed around sooner. I've attached the 11.2RC2 announcement. Will definitely make this a plan for the 11.2 final release. We should have the announcement more or less "locked" by November 6th if not sooner. Final openSUSE 11.2 Release Candidate Available This is it folks! We're almost there for openSUSE 11.2.
