[opensuse-marketing] Items for OpenSUSE newsletter

I joined this list to find out if there is any need for Newsletter contributors? I'm already doing fairly regular blog postings regarding OpenSUSE so would it be of any help to contribute them for use in the Newsletter? If there are any guidelines or procedures for this please let me know. I only know english so I can't help with translation and I'm not sure what an Editor does... If it's within my skill set and not too time intensive I'd be willing to take that on. I was originally thinking more of contributions. For example technical articles on various subjects. Everything from desktop tips & tricks to higher-end server stuff. Thank you very much for being interested in contributing Newsletter. The overall informations which Weekly News team members should know are linked from our portal page. http://en.opensuse.org/OpenSUSE_Weekly_News If you want to contribute your articles on openSUSE related subjects to Weekly News, just tell us by putting the URL of your original blog entry on our Dashboard page. http://en.opensuse.org/OpenSUSE_Weekly_News/Dashboard If you are not familiar with editing Wiki pages or not sure which corner your articles are suitable for, feel free to send an email to Sascha. However, if you tend to be interested in contributing your articles to whole openSUSE community rather than joining Weekly News team as a editor, I'd recommend you to become a Member and get your accounts for lizards.o.o and Planet SUSE. http://en.opensuse.org/Members Best, -- _/_/ Satoru Matsumoto - openSUSE Member - Japan _/_/ _/_/ Marketing/Weekly News/openFATE Screening Team _/_/ _/_/ mail: helios_reds_at_gmx.net / irc: HeliosReds _/_/ _/_/ http://blog.geeko.jp/author/heliosreds _/_/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+help@opensuse.org

I am not sure if this point was stated, but having an event section would be great. So that the Speakers/ Members/Ambassador can post up coming events, to help get the word out on them. -- ---------------------------------------- Discover it! Enjoy it!
