Hello mates,
since this issue of openSUSE Weekly News we're planning to make the profreading session more open. So everyone can read it and share his thoughts, So the Newsteam and the Marketingteam is specially invited.
Draft can found at: http://saigkill.homelinux.net/pub/OWN/HTML/OWN-201.html
This week, what concerns me are followings: =In the Community= ==Events & Meetings== ===Upcoming=== We may have forgotten the most important event, openSUSE 12.1 public release! Why don't you add it with this link? http://en.opensuse.org/Portal:12.1?pk_campaign=counter =New/Updated Applications @ openSUSE= * Nelson Marques: Unknown Horizons – 2011.3 RC4 @ games:unknown-horizons I think 'Games Corner' is more suitable for this article. =Tips and Tricks= ==For System Administrators== * Pavol Rusnak: Getting SSH fingerprints for machines in your network The shell script part of this article doesn't seem to have line breaks at least in HTML. Can you fix this problem? ... That's all I could find for this issue. Have a nice weekend! What is to do?
* Please point out if you find something to be fixed in the draft, including:
- Incorrect links - Articles which are already included in the past issues - Articles which are *too biased* and shouldn't be included
Maybe skip the 10000th feature request to change default desktop (this time, I suspect, to XFCE or LXDE altough the writer isn't clear on that)
Founded Issues you can report to this thread.

As usual you're very thorough. I think it's awesome work. And congrats on the podcast!

Thanks for your comment, Jos. It is very difficult to screen which feature requests are convincing and which are not during the OWN editing phase. People may request any feature to openFATE regardless of whether it is acceptable to others or not. Users can vote + or - for each request and if negative votes will be cast more than positive votes, a request won't be implemented. So, the reason why I introduce newly requested features in OWN is to attract more attention of users and urge them to vote. I know there are some requests which are totally ridiculous or too selfish. But I've tried to include all the features (actually not all but all which are categorized as 'openSUSE Distribution' and 'Package Wishlist', though) in OWN because I think readers/users should judge whether a request is reasonable or not. I ask for your kind understanding. ;-) Best, -- _/_/ Satoru Matsumoto - openSUSE Member - Japan _/_/ _/_/ Marketing/Weekly News/openFATE Screening Team _/_/ _/_/ mail: helios_reds_at_gmx.net / irc: HeliosReds _/_/ _/_/ http://blog.zaq.ne.jp/opensuse/ _/_/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+owner@opensuse.org

Oh, it wasn't criticism, I thought you made a pre-selection. If you just put everything in there (which is relevant for openSUSE) then this shouldn't be an exception of course. Thanks!
