I also like to idea of openSUSE screencasts. They are a extremely convenient way for newbies to get into a topic. Just two starting points: * O'REILLY digitalmedia: What Is Screencasting [1] * Ubuntuusers (German) contains many tips and links to free software for screencasting [2] * Wikipedia: Comparison of screencasting software I myself prefer Recordmydesktop [4], which makes it really easy to record a screencast.
