Quoting Kevin Dupuy <kevin.dupuy@opensuse.org>:
Alright, it's time for some Sneak Peek love. I've penned out four article plans, but I'm sure we can come out with some more ideas, so fell free to add an additional article to this page: http://en.opensuse.org/Sneak_Peeks
Currently, we've got: *Installation & administration *KDE 4 *GNOME 2.24 *Misc improvements
Anyone interested in writing these articles?
Well ... as a recent "convert" to openSUSE, I'm not all that familiar with how 11.1 differs from, say, 11.0. But I'd be happy to write a "preview" from the point of view of someone who's tried all the Linux distros since Red Hat 6.2 and settled on openSUSE. By the way, I just replaced Gentoo with 11.1 RC1 on my AMD64 and am getting ready to check out the Firefox/Flash/Acroread/Sun Java usability on some intensive websites. That's been a royal PITA on 64-bit Gentoo, which is one reason I switched. The other reason is that it's almost impossible to get a working Gnome 2.24 desktop *with* Compiz on Gentoo. I gave it one last shot this morning and ended up with an unbootable box. :( -- M.
