Hi @Weekly Newsletter Team Guys,
I want to make a proposal for the future Weekly Newsletter schedule. Nice job, Satoru! But with this letter we may start another session of ongoing discussion about scheduling ))) As for me, I think it would be better to have a bullet-proof "Ready-for-translation" status on Friday night, have time for
2009/1/5 Satoru Matsumoto <helios_reds@gmx.net>: translation on the weekend and post the news out on Monday or even Tuesday, if the main Newsletter gets some fixes. Or we can plan the schedule from the end, for example: Moment X: posting out new issue Moment (X - 48 hours): "string-freeze". Translation starts. I assume 48h as the interval to become timezone-independent: every translator will get a full day for his work inspite of timezone Moment (X - 72 hours): ready-for-translation status of main newsletter. Proofreading starts Two points to be considered: 1) Someone can do his job during the weekend and someone can not. This has to be pointed out 2) I assume Satoru and Masim are the best proof-readers, so we'll need some extra-precise coordination of (X-72h) moment with them :) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+help@opensuse.org
