Hello,
a side discussion from the others we have on this list, is how to summarize/develop/report our discussion(s) on a manner more permanent than mailing lists.
Rajko proposes google doc - we also can use google drive in a similar manner
but I think it could be a positive signal to use an openSUSE system for this specific work.
But I don't know wich one.
* the wiki? it may be the more natural, but I don't know if it's adapted for concurrent work like this
It's a pitta if everybody jumps on the same webpage at the same time, but I think for the brainstorming/organization that is happening right now it's fine I would say. For realtime editing of drafts by multiple people in once, etherpads are generally good idea, but only as temporally solution, result should be saved somewhere in the wiki afterwards, I would say...
* connect? I really would like to make connect the central point of team members life, but, honestly, I don't know if it czan fit the needs, not having used it for years
Well, currently it can't do much, but can be expanded and supports quite powerful plugin system. So if there is need for some functionality to be included, we just need somebody to implement it :-)
* news.o.o? we probably need a blog system, is this one?
news.o.o is a wordpress instance so it is a bloging platform ;-) -- Michal HRUSECKY SUSE LINUX, s.r.o. openSUSE Team Lihovarska 1060/12 PGP 0xFED656F6 19000 Praha 9 mhrusecky[at]suse.cz Czech Republic http://michal.hrusecky.net http://www.suse.cz -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+owner@opensuse.org
