I will be speaking to some Computing major students in a local college in 2 weeks' time on the benefits of going and using FOSS. Naturally I will be using the openSUSE ecosystem as an example.
Since these guys are using almost 100% MS products fro development, I am thinking perhaps I can interest them on OBS or how to get started to contrbute to openSUSE. Are there slides or more info I can get on OBS or how to contribute code to the project? I am not a developer but more of a user/sysadmin type. So there is much I don't understand about OBS internals or code contribution.
Yes you can find some presentations here: http://en.opensuse.org//openSUSE:Presentations#openSUSE_Build_Service and have a look around, you might find other interesting things that you might use ;-)

Instead of saying how cool SUSE Studio is, I always say "ain't it awesome to create your own OS with all software you want all from the comfort of a web browser for the cost of exactly zero dollars and cents" + demo.
I am unsure people are sold by the name. They need to know what it can do.

belongs SUSE Studio to openSUSE? I ever thought that it belongs to SUSE/Novell?
It belongs to both. Building openSUSE appliances, spreading openSUSE, and making people move over to openSUSE is an important part of what we are doing with Studio.
