Hi Thoar! Hello everyone!
With the upcoming openSUSE 11.2 around the corner I have decided to make an account on the Dutch social network site Hyves. Since there was no openSUSE account on this social network, I do feel (and think) that openSUSE should be represented on this social network. Specially since Dutch citizens are more familiar with this one, rather than the other social networks.
Therefore, I would like to ask the following things. Is it able to use the openSUSE logo as avatar? Or is it able to get approval to use the logo on the account? What about other pictures and/or photos with openSUSE on it? Because if I am not mistaken, Novell has the copyrights of the openSUSE logo.
Another aspect is, what kind of content should be placed? What kind of content is allowed to be placed? (copyright?) Should news of openSUSE be stressed, or practical information, or anything else?
My personal view would be to give general and practical information (to those new to openSUSE of searching for openSUSE / why one should choose openSUSE) and news (to those who are already aware of openSUSE). With emphasis on the upcoming openSUSE 11.2.
Any input would be great. And if there are other Dutch openSUSE users willing to help, you are more than welcome :)
