Hello,
I know some of you would find this funny , but I was wondering when is openSUSE's birthday ? As I believe we can actually make this day (the birth date) a very special day in marketing the product in terms of - making public appearance , organize an event and provide talks and so on . If the the day is not somewhere around , then I would like to see the 12.0 release and openSUSE birthday on the same day (if feasible) .So that we get chance to party double and have a Mega-Event . . .
This is just a thought from an empty vessel , so give a thought to it ;)
PS :If you Birthday as not a suitable word , then Anniversary ? (or not)
Hi,
Had you read this http://zonker.opensuse.org/2008/10/06/third-anniversary-of-opensuse-projects...
It seems October 6th is the opensuse anniversary.
October 6th is the birthday of the openSUSE *distribution* and the birthday of openSUSE *Project* is August 9th. http://news.opensuse.org/2007/08/09/birthday-of-opensuse-project/ Best, -- _/_/ Satoru Matsumoto - openSUSE Member - Japan _/_/ _/_/ Marketing/Weekly News/openFATE Screening Team _/_/ _/_/ mail: helios_reds_at_gmx.net / irc: HeliosReds _/_/ _/_/ http://blog.zaq.ne.jp/opensuse/ _/_/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+help@opensuse.org
