As 42.1 does not come with live media this can also act as promo DVD for 42.1 publicity. It showcases GNOME, KDE and Mate on a single live DVD.
Great work but where are the sources? I'd love to have this as an official image but it has to follow the development process then. Reproducible builds¹ anyone? :)
Hi Ludwig We can't have this as "official" openSUSE image as it contains stuff from packman, but this is an "official" openSUSE Education image hosted on opensuse-education.org and sourceforge servers. All the packages comes from official openSUSE repositories, openSUSE Build Services repositories and packman, sources for those packages can be found on their respective repositories. Sources for building Li-f-e image using kiwi can be found here: https://sourceforge.net/p/opensuse-edu/code/HEAD/tree/trunk/kiwi-desc-edu/ Cheers Jigish -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+owner@opensuse.org
