Hi, I have a problem with SCIM and TCL/TK. I have an application that does not get any keyboard events if SCIM is active. I think it is based on TCL/TK and the reason might be a bug described here: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=905830&group_id=12997&atid=112997 Are there any recent rpms that incorporate this fix? Or is there something else I could do? Yes, see also: https://bugzilla.novehttps://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=77424
Are there any recent rpms that incorporate this fix?
It is fixed for SuSE 10.1. But there are no updated rpms for SuSE 10.0 yet.
Or is there something else I could do?
You can start the Tk application with
XMODIFIERS=@im=local <application>
as a workaround. You can still not use SCIM then but at least regular
keyboard input works then.

I was mistaken, in fact there are updated rpm available. They are
here:
ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/projects/tcl/8.4.12/
For 10.0-i386 in the sub-directory:
