Hi Mike, Long time, no? Quite busy with my professional works. Well, got the great news that new suse is about to be released sometime in september. Let me remind you of Tamil support therein. Please try including the following: Tamil fonts Tamil IMEs It would be great if yast2 gives us a choice to select one of our Tamil IMEs too. I know qt3.2 has support to Indic languages, and kde3.2 will be released only in December. But, try your best to support our Tamil. For your information, the website is www.tamillinux.org and www.tamil.homelinux.org Regards, Rajesh

Is included.

Didn't you want to do the translations for YaST2? If Tamil is a language YaST2 is translated in, an installation in Tamil will be possible. And it will have it's own package selection for Tamil, i.e. the Tamil fonts and Tamil IMEs will be installed automatically when installing in Tamil.
I know qt3.2 has support to Indic languages,
Most probably Qt 3.2.x will be included in SuSE Linux 9.0.
and kde3.2 will be released only in December. But, try your best to support our Tamil.
Tamil already appears to work currently in Qt/KDE. -- Mike Fabian <mfabian@suse.de> http://www.suse.de/~mfabian 睡眠不足はいい仕事の敵だ。

I think, HTML formatted mails should not be used in mailing lists at all. Especially the attribute "<FONT SIZE=2>" is not only wrong (2 must be "2" in quotes for correct HTML), but unreadable.
