Hi, in SuSE 9.3 I input setxkbmap -symbols "en_US(pc105)+lt+group(lwin_toggle)" and I can switch from US symbols to LT symbols with left Win key. In SuSE 10 I get "Error loading new keyboard description"... How can I switch from one keyboard layout to other? Audrius

Hi,
in SuSE 9.3 I input
setxkbmap -symbols "en_US(pc105)+lt+group(lwin_toggle)"
try $setxkbmap us
and I can switch from US symbols to LT symbols with left Win key. In SuSE 10 I get "Error loading new keyboard description"...
How can I switch from one keyboard layout to other?

Yes, I know that. But I would like to change layout from one to other in easy way, i.e., by pressing Ctrl+Shift or Win key on the keyboard. With KDE Kxkb I can not find how to make switching by keyboard not mouse... Audrius

I use: KDE Control Center -> Regional & Accessibility -> Keyboard Layouts -> Short Cuts here [at the end of the list] you can set a short cut for switching between the keyboard layouts. sebastian
