And just to prove I'm not a complete helpless moron... here's a handy addition to your .bashrc file for those of you running in a different language environment than English but occaisionally need to run something in English. alias E='LANG=en_US' Throwing an 'E' in front (e.g., 'E man grep') sure beats typing 'LANG=en_US' everytime.
