Hallo Friedrich Dimmling, the pyDict I don't know, but you can download CEDIT in simplifed or traditional characters at http://www.mandarintools.com/cedict.html. It is a Chinese-English one. These dictionaries are stored in the EDCIT-format by Jim Breen. You can use any linux programm handling this format. If you have any further question mail me under mail@bibiko.com. In this time I create a Chinese-German dictionary but I have not enough time. Regards, Hans-Joerg Bibiko p.s. Du kannst mir auch Mails in Deutsch schicken.
