GTK+-2.0 Hangul Input Modules for SuSE Linux 8.2
A new GTK+-2.0 Hangul input module is available for SuSE 8.2 here: ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/people/mfabian/8.2-i586/imhangul-0.9.6-0.i586.rpm ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/people/mfabian/8.2-src/imhangul-0.9.6-0.src.rpm There is already a Hangul input module available in GTK+-2.0, but this additional input module works much better. Select the input method with "Control+Right-mouse" in any GTK+-2.0 application, then you can switch between English and Korean input with Shift+Space. This extra imhangul package also makes it possible to enter Hangul syllables which included in Unicode but not in the KS X 1001 repertoire. For example U+AC02 can be typed as the keysequence 'r', 'k', 'R' (on a qwerty KBD). -- Mike Fabian <mfabian@suse.de> http://www.suse.de/~mfabian 睡眠不足はいい仕事の敵だ。
