How to switch KDE keyboard
Hi, I am from Lithuania and I am using two keyboard layout: lithuanian and us. I can switch with mouse from one to another, but I would like to switch keyboard layout with keyboard shortcut, f.e., left Ctrl+Shift. How can I do that? I am new in Linux, so please explain it in details ;-) -- Audrius SuSE 8.2 Pro

Start the KDE Control Centre. Go to: Regional & Accessibility -> Keyboard Shortcuts. Scroll down in the shortcut list to Switch to Next Keyboard Layout Alt+Ctrl+K Click on this line and configure your favourite shortcut there. -- Mike Fabian <mfabian@suse.de> http://www.suse.de/~mfabian 睡眠不足はいい仕事の敵だ。

Thanks Mike for the tip but I can not assign Ctrl+Shift. It is possible only use 3 keys sequence. Or I have to go other way? -- Audrius SuSE 8.2 Pro

2 keys like Ctrl+F1 are also possible. But it looks like you cannot use only two modifier keys like Ctrl, Alt, Shift. -- Mike Fabian <mfabian@suse.de> http://www.suse.de/~mfabian 睡眠不足はいい仕事の敵だ。
