[opensuse-m17n] Chinese sorting algorithms
Hi, I've had a look around Mike Fabian's suse-cjk pages, but I didn't find what i was looking for. Do we support (openSuse/SLEx 11 ->) sorting by pinyin, stroke count or Bopomofo?
From my investigations, it would appear not and that the only sorting algorithm we provide is based on a character's codepoint. Can anyone confirm?

Yes, that’s right, the current sorting information of the CJK locales in glibc is only based on the codepoint. One could add other locales with different sorting information like ja_JP.UTF-8@strokecount, I have seen something like that on other *nix systems. -- Mike FABIAN <mike.fabian@gmx.de> 睡眠不足はいい仕事の敵だ。 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-m17n+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-m17n+help@opensuse.org
