May be everybody knows, but I did not: When receiving a mail, which was probably encoded with ISO-2022-JP it can be read with UTF-8 setting. But if I copy the mailaddress in my address book and use it later on with UTF-8 encoding, the mail will be returned, because there is a \" in front of the @ mark automatically generated, which cannot be seen at the time of sending the mail. I type the address by hand, but is there a procedure by which this effect can be avoided automatically? I am using Mozilla 1.5 in Linux 9.0, because I like "writing on the spot". Walter.
