-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 SCIM-Anthy behaves suspiciously in MozillaFirefox after playing back Flash Movies. [Environments, in which I confirmed reproductions] - - openSUSE 10.2 i386/x86_64 - - SUSE Linux 10.1 i386 - - MozillaFirefox, flash-player and scim/anthy related packages are all updated with packages in 'Build Service' repositories. [How to reproduce] 1. Play back Flash movies -- for example, YouTube -- in Firefox. 2. Open a new tab and open a URL which includes writable textarea. 3. Launch SCIM-Anthy and input some words in Japanese. 4. Press Space key for Kana/Kanji conversion. Then you can see strange behaviors -- for example, inputed words suddenly disappear. I don't know what this is caused by, but I found a workaround by using scim-bridge. [Workaround] 1. Download scim-bridge from the site below, then build and install normally. # I didn't add any options when I configured. http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=108454&package_id=185651 2. Add a line below to /usr/lib/firefox/firefox.sh. export GTK_IM_MODULE=scim-bridge 3. Restart Firefox. ...You may need to execute # gtk-query-immodules-2.0 > /etc/opt/gnome/gtk-2.0/gtk.immodules between 1. and 2. procedure, but I don't know exactly this procedure is necessary or not.
